New York Updates COVID Guidance - Shorter Isolation Time for ALL Dealership Employees
/New York State announced that it has adopted the latest CDC Guidance, Shortening Isolation and Quarantine Period for ALL dealership staff who either test positive or are exposed to COVID-19.
If an employee TEST POSITIVE for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status:
Stay home for 5 days.
If they have no symptoms or their symptoms are resolving after 5 days, they can return to work.
They must continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If an employee is EXPOSED to COVID-19:
If they are boosted, had the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months, or had the J&J vaccine within the last 2 months:
Wear a mask around others for 10 days.
Test on day 5, if possible.
If they are unvaccinated, had the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are not boosted, or had the J&J vaccine over 2 months ago and are not boosted:
Stay home for 5 days and continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
Test on day 5 if possible.
