NYS Highlights DMV-DIRECT’s Ongoing Processing Services

The Department of Motor Vehicles posted a Statewide notice to dealers that GNYADA’s Vehicle Registration and Titling Service (DMV-DIRECT) is still handling dealer’s registration needs. DMV issued this notice informing dealers as to how they can process titling and registration paperwork for any customer transactions during the crisis. 

DMV-DIRECT is accepting original vehicle registrations by mail, common carrier or scheduled drop off. As a DMV partner, DMV-DIRECT's services include:

  • Registrations – permanent documents issued

  • Duplicate titles 

  • Out-of-state registration & title processing in 42 states

  • In-transit processing

  • Duplicate registrations

  • Title-only transactions

  • Dealer plate renewals

  • and much more.
