To assist dealers with the switch over to the State’s new emissions testing system, NYVIP3, GNYADA is holding a special live webinar for dealers.

Frank Ofiero, Corporate Director, Opus Inspection Inc. will discuss NYVIP3 set up, solutions for many of the most common problems that arise during the initial setup, and answer any questions you may have about NYVIP 3.

  • Bar Code Reader

    • Will not scan at all.

    • Incorrectly reading the Barcode

    • Wireless paring issues throughout the day

    • Wireless parking is needed every morning.
       

  • Sticker Printer

    • Inoperative

    • Printing in the wrong area

    • Unnecessary stock being fed each time a certificate is printed.

    • Inventory accountability numbering issues.
       

  • IMClean Scan Tool

    • Inoperative

    • Will not connect during inspection.

    • Will not complete the initialization.
       

  • VIR printer

    • Will not come online.

    • Will not print when prompted.

    • Will fall asleep and must be rebooted several times a day.
