DMV New Emissions Testing Equipment is Coming

GNYADA and the Department of Motor Vehicles will present an important webinar for dealers about being prepared for the new State Emissions Program, on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.  

Dealers are required to switch over to the State’s new emissions testing system starting December 2022.  As reported in previous articles GNYADA has issued, the new New York Vehicle Inspection Program (NYVIP 3) will require the purchase of new equipment. 

Dealers need to prepare and take the necessary steps now to be ready for the switch over to NYVIP 3 coming in December. Dealers will need to order and purchase new equipment.  The webinar will cover new payment options for purchasing the equipment.
