Auto dealers must ensure their environmental recordkeeping, permit filings, and safety plans comply with federal, state, and local regulations. While OSHA, NYSDEC, and NYC DEP control most of the requirements in our area, your local health department or the NYC Buildings Department also have requirements impacting dealership operations.

While maintaining environmental permits and records seems like a daunting task, Joe Heaney, Jessica Bluth, and Massi Lelli from Walden Associates will breakdown the rules and review these requirements for you during this week's webinar.

Keeping Records and Obtaining Permits for the following will be discussed:

  1. Storage tanks that require permits

  2. Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans

  3. Proper Waste Management techniques

  4. Recordkeeping for shipping defective waste airbags

  5. Air quality and Co2 detectors

  6. Retaining Safety Data Sheets
