We are pleased to present this special webinar about what dealers need to know regarding the Information Safeguards Rule. The FTC has announced that it will begin enforcement of the updated rule beginning December 9, 2022.
The amendments to the rule require dealers to adopt multiple new information security measures, appoint staff, prepare documents, and make changes to existing safeguards. Dealers need to take immediate steps to come into compliance with these new requirements.
